Educational programmes for young people
Kiosks in Schools case study
Kudakwashe is a 19 year-old teenage educator who knows all too well, the horror of seeing loved ones die of AIDS. He had to drop out of school aged 16 to take care of his younger sister and nurse his emaciated mother.
He is a hard worker and having overcome the terrible personal trauma of watching his mum pass away, he now uses his own life story as a beacon for other young Namibians.
Once a child farm labourer, Kudakwashe now earns a small living wage working for SYDO, imparting crucial sexual health information to people in his community.
